Step 1

- Create or identify a Team in Microsoft Teams — for example
Migration. Wait for Microsoft to complete the setup and continue after you have verified that files are accessible in the Shared tab.

Open in SharePoint

- SharePoint is now open. Copy the site URL without the Document Library part.

!Important: Ensure the SharePoint site time zone matches the time zone of the machine running SMART Migration. Site Settings >> Regional Settings
Step 2
- Select your preferred authentication method — either an installed certificate or a path to a certificate
.pfx file.
Step 3
- Supply the
Tenant ID, Client ID, and remaining credentials from your App Registration.
*Click Next — Note that provisioning the Content Governance artifacts to the Team will take 5–8 minutes.
