Safety sleep is an important concept for all drivers to keep in mind. It is no secret that driver fatigue is a dangerous condition that leads to many accidents. Recent studies indicate that even missing one or two hours of sleep can double your chances of being in an accident.

Missing 2-3 hours of sleep is the same risk as driving over the legal limit for alcohol. As such, drivers are reminded that it is important for their safety and that of their passengers they get adequate sleep the night before they drive; for most people, this is seven hours of sleep per night.
