Brain Version 3

Overview

Kramer Control has released Brain version 3 on the Virtual Brain 1 and Virtual Brain 5 hardware. This new software version supports HTTP authentication methods previously unsupported in previous versions of the software. These authentication types include: OAuth, OAuth 2, Digest, and Token based drivers. Along with the newly supported authentication types, the Brain code itself has been rewritten to be more secure and faster for publishing changes.

*Brain 3 is only supported on the Virtual Brain hardware. This software update will not be available on the SL hardware. The SL hardware will continue to be supported as a gateway, but we highly suggest not using the SL hardware as a Brain moving forward.
