An SMS and email will automatically be delivered to an Escalation Contact to alert them that a User has not Checked-In. It is the responsibility of the Escalation Contact to follow organisational policies to ensure the User is safe.
The SMS and email contain a link to the User’s Activity.
The Escalation Contact can amend the Activity, record notes or identify that an Incident has occurred.
**IMPORTANT – if a User is also an Escalation Contact and an Escalation occurs on their Activity they will not receive the Escalation Notification. The Escalation Notification will bypass to the next active Escalation Contact for that Team as per the Teams Escalation pathway.
