5.3 Batch Spectra Upload

Upload multiple spectral files and create corresponding experiments automatically

Batch spectra upload tool can allow users to upload multiple spectral files and create corresponding experiments automatically. This can save time for creating a number of experiments manually. The experiment names will follow spectral file names, so users may change spectral file names accordingly before upload, if necessary.

Go to a project page and click more menu. The dropdown menu shows the ‘Batch upload’ menu. Click the ‘Batch upload menu’

In the batch spectra uploading page, there are two options for experiment selection – auto and custom. The auto option will create experiments automatically with the same name from spectral file names. With the custom option, users can type prefix for experiment names. The experiment names will be a concatenation of prefix and spectral file names.

Users can drag & drop or click the ‘Add files’ button to upload spectral files. After uploading the files, multiple experiments will be created automatically by assigning each file to its corresponding experiment.
