The Details view presents all specific data related to the selected object, organized in expandable and collapsible accordions. Scrolling down provides access to information about its child objects. This view serves as the primary interface for reviewing object details in a structured format.
In this topic, we will explore the components and general features of the Details view to help you navigate and understand its layout.
Header Toolbar
The header toolbar provides quick access to key actions for managing an object.
- Object Book Generation: Generate a detailed document for the object.
- Create New Objects: Add new objects directly from the toolbar.
- Edit Button & Dropdown: Clicking Edit allows users to modify the object. The attached dropdown provides additional options such as configuring approval/endorsement, setting security, creating records, and deleting the object.
- Tools Dropdown: Download the object’s audit trail, compare versions, or unpublish an object.
- Next Action in Workflow Button: Displays options like Send for Approval, Send for Endorsement, or Publish if the object is in progress (Draft).
- Show Published Button: If an object is in progress (Draft) and you’re in Latest mode, this button lets you view the currently published version.
- Details Viewing Modes: This dropdown allows users to select different modes for interacting with the object, enabling them to add comments, view existing comments, and inline edit the data within the Details view.
- More Options: Access additional actions like printing, subscribing, and favoriting the object.
- Collaboration Panel: Access change requests, discussions, and questions related to the object.
- Navigation Buttons: Navigate quickly between objects in the process flow.
Object Status Box
Located next to the object’s name, the Object Status Box displays the current status of the object (e.g., Draft, Published, Sent for Approval). This provides a quick overview of the object’s lifecycle.
Key Object Information
Directly beneath the object’s name, you’ll find a grey box displaying key information that isn’t part of the object’s attributes. Depending on the module and the information added by users, this section may include the object’s UID, SSN, type, categories, and options for downloading or previewing the object.
Attribute Accordions
Information related to the object, which has been added by users, is displayed in attribute accordions. To view more details, simply click on the accordion name to expand it.
