Some task names, statuses, and identifiers have been updated to make it easier to understand your tasks, track improvements, and reduce confusion.
What’s New
Improvement Requests (IR)
EPC Change Requests (CRs) are now called Improvement Requests (IRs). This change clearly distinguishes EPC collaboration topics from the DBP Change Request workflow. All task names, buttons, notifications, and menus now reflect this update, and all existing EPC CRs have been converted to IRs.
Updated Approval & Endorsement Task Statuses
Task statuses now use clearer terminology that matches the actual cycle step:
- Pending: It’s your turn to take action (replaces “Waiting for Approval”).
- Awaiting Turn: You are part of the approval cycle, but it’s not yet your turn (replaces “Pending” for future-in-sequence approvers).
- Not Required: Your approval is not needed (replaces “Skipped”).
Serial Number (SN) Update
The identifier previously called SSN (System Serial Number) is now SN (Serial Number) to reduce confusion. All references in EPC, including the List view, Details view, and notifications, have been updated.
What This Means for You
- Clarity: Quickly see which tasks need your action and which do not.
- Consistency: Labels and identifiers are standardized across EPC, keeping the system clear and easy to follow.
