This release introduces new content lifecycle capabilities that make approval and endorsement processes more flexible, transparent, and tailored to how teams collaborate.
Build Hybrid Approval Workflows
Approvals can now be configured with multiple stages that combine both serial and parallel steps. Configure as many stages as needed and easily add, remove, or reorder approval groups with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Stages are executed sequentially, ensuring a clear and auditable path from start to finish.
Hybrid Approval Cycles for Conditional UDAs with Stage Ordering
Admins can also configure hybrid approval cycles directly within conditional setups tied to categories, subtypes, or UDA values. When conditions are met, the system automatically applies the defined approval structure.
Each stage includes a numeric Order field to control its position in the cycle:
- Stages with an Order value appear first in ascending order.
- Existing stages follow.
- Stages without an Order value are added at the bottom.
- If multiple attributes share the same Order value, their sequence follows the order in which they were configured.
All stages execute sequentially, while preserving serial or parallel logic within each stage.
View Resources Associated with the Role Assigned Within the Cycle
When configuring an approval or endorsement cycle, users can now see not only the roles involved but also the specific resources assigned to each role. This added visibility helps teams understand exactly who will participate, reducing ambiguity and supporting smoother progression through each stage.
