Status Watermarks help users quickly identify the state of a document by applying a visible label during download, ensuring clarity on whether a file is Draft or Uncontrolled (published) without modifying the original stored document.
How Status Watermarks Work
- Watermarks are applied only at download, print or preview time.
- Original documents remain unchanged.
- Supported formats: PDF and Word files.
System Configuration
Status Watermarks are disabled by default. To enable them, update the advanced system settings:
- Draft watermark:
DOCUMENT_INJECT_WATERMARK_DRAFT→true - Uncontrolled watermark:
DOCUMENT_INJECT_WATERMARK_PUBLISHED→true
Watermarks are injected only when the corresponding system setting is enabled.
