13.5.3 Process Video Parsing

This AI-powered feature enables the direct conversion of process videos into actionable EPC processes and flow objects. It simplifies the integration of key business operations into your organization’s database by eliminating the need for manual transcription or diagramming.

With just a few clicks, users can upload a video and automatically generate structured, editable EPC diagrams, making it easier than ever to document and manage business processes captured on screen.

This guide covers how to use the feature and provides guidelines for optimal video parsing.

How to Use the Video Parsing Feature

1. Navigate to the Process module.
2. In the tree, right-click on the desired Set or Process. The parsed process will be nested as a child of the selected item.
3. Select ‘Parse Video’.

4. A pop-up window will appear.

5. Click on the Choose File button to browse and select the desired video file.

*EPC supports video files in MP4 formats.

6. Optionally, add instructions in the text box to guide the parsing process.
7. Click the Parse button to begin the parsing process.

!You can upload videos up to 10 MB.

8. You will receive a notification once the parsing is complete.
9. The resulting process will appear in the tree. You can then review, edit, and organize the parsed content as needed.

Guidelines for Optimal Video Parsing

• The parser uses the transcript of the video for analysis. It does not process subtitles or voiceovers. Make sure a transcript file is included when uploading.
• Supported format: MP4
• Maximum file size: 10 MB
• Recommended video length: Around 5 minutes. This length offers the best balance of accuracy and performance based on internal testing.
