Users can quickly configure, edit, and send approval cycles for multiple objects at once from the List page. Mass configuration and submission allow you to apply the same settings across multiple objects instantly, ensuring consistency and accuracy. This feature also significantly reduces manual effort by eliminating the need to send objects for approval or endorsement individually.

How to Access the Mass Approval Actions
- Navigate to the List view
- Ensure that the checkbox column is enabled.
- Select the desired objects using the checkboxes.
- Click on the ellipsis menu that appears in the page header.
- Hover over the Approval option in the dropdown.
- Choose:
- Set Approval Cycle to configure the approval cycles.
- Send for Approval to submit the selected objects for approval.
How to Mass Configure Approval Cycles
- Click on Set Approval Cycle.
- In the Assign Approval Cycle to Object form, you can:
- Choose the approval cycle type (serial or parallel).
- Search for and add approvers to the list.
- Change the order of approvers.
- Enable or disable the e-signature requirement.
- Click Save to apply the configuration to all selected objects.
How to Mass Send for Approval
- Click Send for Approval.
- In the Send for Approval Confirmation form, you can:
- Add a comment.
- Set a due date (a deadline for approvers).
- Attach a file to the approval request.
- Click Send for approval to submit the selected objects.
Rules & Limitations
General
- Bulk submission applies only to non-signature-required objects.
- If any selected object requires a signature, it cannot be sent for approval in bulk.
- A warning message will inform you that signature-required documents must be sent individually.
- Endorsement cycles are processed before approval cycles.
- If an object has both an endorsement and an approval cycle configured, the system automatically processes endorsement first, followed by approval.
Signature-Required Documents
- Signature-required documents are excluded from mass send for approval due to system constraints:
- UI Blocking: Document generation for approval can take significant time, especially for objects created in the Process module, causing delays.
- Premature Approvals: Approvers may receive notifications before document generation completes. If they approve too soon, the system may crash due to the missing document.
- If you need to send signature-required documents for approval, they must be submitted individually.
Performance Considerations
- Large selections may take longer to process.
- While mass actions are optimized for efficiency, selecting a high number of objects may result in slight processing delays.
- The UI remains responsive, and you can continue working while the system processes approvals in the background.
