The new Task Delegation feature enables users to assign their approval and endorsement tasks to a trusted colleague during periods of unavailability, helping keep projects on track and preventing unnecessary delays. With automated delegation, tasks are managed efficiently, ensuring that nothing is overlooked in the user’s absence.

How It Works

To delegate tasks, go to your Profile and scroll down to the Delegate Assignment section. Click the + New Delegate button to select a delegate and define the delegation timeframe.

Once assigned, the delegate will receive notifications for your tasks, access them directly from their Home Page or To Do module, and perform them on your behalf.

You will still retain access to your tasks and may complete them at any time, even while the delegation is active.

All delegation actions (including assignments, modifications, and removals) are logged in the system’s resource-level audit trail.
