Scan View Scales

Many of the scan views in myINSiGHT are scalable graphs. By default, the system will determine the scale of a graph based on its largest value. The user can override this and tell the system to always use a fixed scale for a particular view. Users can set the scale values from the Scale Dialog, which is accessible in three places:

• On Settings->Scan View Defaults
• On the Patient/Visit page
• On the Report Builder page

On any of these pages the user will find a “Scales” button which you can click to popup the dialog to change the scale:

The user can select any available scale and the change is saved as soon as they make the selection. A selection of “Auto” means the user wants the system to automatically calculate the scale. These scales will be used for that view type until the user makes a different selection.
