Flexijet with Screen showing Shock Sensor warning

Flexijet 3D Next Generation has a shock sensor that registers the movements or accelerations of the tripod, in the case of being bumped or moved. Should the accelerations exceed a certain value, FlexiCAD puts out an appropriate warning message. In this case, one can assume that the tripod was nudged, and care should be taken to ascertain if the Flexijet’s position has been changed. This can be done by projecting points for visual verification, or repositioning using location targets (if a position has been set previously).

The sensitivity of the shock sensor can be set in the General Preferences section of FlexiCAD/Flexijet Stone software, which can be accessed on startup of the software, or by selecting “General Preferences” from the ‘File’ menu.
