Convert Single Elements to Polyline gif

To convert elements to polyline:

For versions 3.1.1.0 and newer:

  1. Select ‘Single Elements to Polyline’

  1. Select the start element of the Polyline, meaning click on any part of the object to convert to polyline. The function will continue to search for connected elements at either end of the start element to form a polyline.
  1. Your polyline will be created. If you wish, you can set the tool to change the colour of the polyline upon creation in ‘General Preferences’

  1. You can now select additional single elements to be converted to polyline, as the tool runs in a loop. When completed, press ‘Confirm’ or ‘Cancel’ to end the function.

For versions 3.1.0.0 and older:

  1. Select ‘Single Elements to Polyline’

  1. Select the start element of the Polyline, meaning click on any part of the object to convert to polyline.
  1. Now, Flexijet Stone will ask for the search tolerance. This is the maximum distance between objects that will be ‘bridged’ in order to create the polyline. Input a value, or click ‘Enter’ to use the default value of 0.01.

  1. Your polyline will be created and converted to red. You can read the Length and Area (Square feet) of the polyline by hovering over it with your mouse.
