Divide Object

The Divide object tool is used for dividing an object into equal segments by indicating the division points.

The divide object function can be used with many elements including lines, polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, and others.

These point can be projected, i.e. displayed with the Flexijet. For example, you want to project an ellipse with a specific number of points onto a wall or a floor.

To Divide an object:

1. Click or tap the ‘Divide Object’ button
   

2. Select the object to be divided.

3. Now, enter the amount of segments to be created, and press ‘Enter’

*Note: The Divide object tool will create points at the division points of the elements. For example, an object divided into 3 segments will have 4 points to show the start point, 2 division points, and the end point.
