A great place to start for Google search marketing campaigns
Just signup with your email and password; then go the “Project List” page. From there you can open any of the project examples or start your own new project.
You can use it for free – until you’ve done ten exports to Editor – then you’ll be asked to subscribe for 30, 60, or 90 days. We’re here on support to answer any questions you may have about the QuickStart, Google Ads, Ads Editor, or Excel.
How does the QuickStart work?
The QuickStart is a system for creating, storing, and reusing campaign models (referred to as “projects”). It combines a very clean and logical campaign design with a very intuitive interface for entering and managing the information.
All the information you need to enter to create a campaign is in four simple screens: Settings, Locations, Keywords, and Ads. It will take you no time to become familiar with these and be ready to review and download your campaigns so you can load them into your account.
What do you need in order to use the QuickStart?
You will need a Google Ads Account and the Ads Editor Software.
If you have never used a Google Ads account, we recommend that you set up an account and take a couple of hours to familiarize yourself with how it works. It is attached to a Google ID (or email account) and you’ll have to enter some basic information about yourself and the business you support. Eventually, you’ll have to enter a payment method (credit card) so that you can turn on your campaigns and start getting clicks that go to your website.
We recommend that you set up a test account – separate from production – so you can test new campaigns without interfering with your production account.
You will need to use the Ads Editor software. Ads Editor provides a measure of control that keeps you from making mistakes that you might never even find without it. We encourage you to and try it out. Editor provides a very good interface for making updates to your Google Ads account.
The project list is where all the action happens
All of the QuickStart functionality is contained in the job of creating and modifying projects. After you sign up, you have full access to the application and the project list, including the examples.
The fastest way to familiarize yourself with the QuickStart is to look at some campaigns created for businesses that you are familiar with. We created eight example projects so you can do exactly that.
A few minutes working with the examples will help you see how the QS works. After you sign up, you will see them in your Project List. You can open any or all of them, review the information on each tab, and even export them to Editor. Please make sure you’re using a test account you can clear out later.
A lot more than just “getting started”
Please don’t let the name “QuickStart” fool you. This software can take you a lot further toward success than just a good start.
It does make it very easy to create your first few campaigns. But it also has the ability to help you add campaigns, adgroups, and locations in a very systematic fashion that will help you grow your account and scale your success.
Even as you begin to incorporate the more advanced features of Google Ads (such as audiences) you will see that the QuickStart makes it easy to use these features – even if you can’t specify them in the QuickStart itself.
When you sign up with your email/password, you are using the full QuickStart system for no charge. You can continue to do that until you have performed ten “Exports to Editor”. That’s the button located on the “Exports” tab that creates an ECF (Editor compatible file) that can be loaded into Google Ads Editor. Then you will be asked to “subscribe” for a period of 30, 60, or 90 days.
QuickStart is licensed to individual users for a period of 30, 60, or 90 days at a cost of $250, $450, and $600, respectively. That license grants ONE INDIVIDUAL USER the ability to perform as many exports as they require. This individual license is a strict requirement of using the software and violators will not be granted access to the software.
This license period is referred to as “subscribing”, however, you are only charged once for the period you are subscribing for and there are NO RECURRING CHARGES. Your payment information is not stored or re-used. Period.
Support is the best part of our system
We get questions that range from campaign design, to keyword recommendations, to performance measurement, to – whatever. We love the challenge of trying to help you be successful. The more of your questions we can answer well, the more valuable our company becomes. We know a LOT about Google Ads search campaigns, Google Ads Editor, and other relevant tools like Excel.
For example: we can show you how to create a simple spreadsheet that can maintain your bids and custom settings and use it to update your campaigns whenever you need to. If it sounds complicated, it isn’t. We’ve perfected the process.
Bottom line: If you’re trying to use our software, we should be helping. There are many ways to use the QS that are quite obvious. But it can also be a part of much more sophisticated solutions.
We are here to provide you the best software and the best support we can possibly provide. We are NOT here to “gather information” from you.
The most important feature of the QS is the ability to export your project and import it into Google Ads Editor without you having to “hook up” your Google Ads to anybody’s external systems. You retain complete control over your account and any changes made to it.
