Stopping a automatically disassociates all the Smart Sensors from the shipment. In specific situations, it may be required to disassociate individual sensors from a shipment, without stopping the complete shipment (so other sensors remain associated with the shipment). It may also be required to completely delete or edit an individual association of a shipment.
For to another, these need to first be dis-associated or the association needs to be stopped. At that point, the sensors become available again and can be used again for other sectors. This also applies for sensors that are simply being removed from the sector.
Note: Changing or deleting sensor associations for shipments or sectors is restricted to authorised users. This functionality should only be performed in exception situations, e.g. to correct data entry errors.
To edit an Association, you need to access the Modify screen of the Shipment/Sector where the association has been made. Then click on the button of the association and make the desired changes: edit/stop/delete association.
