You can modify the following settings in a sector:
When sector offline monitoring is enabled, SmartView will send an email notification when no device measurements have been received from the sector for the user-defined period. Sector offline monitoring is independent of the device association start date.
Device offline monitoring means that even if a single device appears offline, a notification is sent. Who will be notified? The Users defined in the notification recipients will receive an e-mail notification.
When will the notification be sent? Users will receive the email notification within one hour after SmartView has detected that the sector is offline. Another notification will be sent once SmartView detects that the Sector is online again.
Click into the field Serial No. and a Pop-Up window with all your devices will occur. Select the devices you want to associate to your Sector.
Click close in the Pop-Up window and then click save to add the device(s) to the list.
To add an Event Rule to your sector, click Monitoring Enabled first. Then you can choose the predefined Event Rule from the list:
Before adding an Event Profile to the sector, make sure you have create an Event Profile with appropriate event rules.
Adding an Event Profile to a Sector can be done from the Modify screen of the Sector. Click on the “Event” tab in the Modify screen:
Click on the Monitoring button to enable Event Monitoring and select a created Event Profile from the dropdown list:
