The purpose of this document is to provide end user documentation on the Node5 Architecture process pack for the “Tolerance Optimization Report” (Torch). The Tolerance Optimization Report (now referred to as Torch for the remainder of this document) is a suite of SAP programs that performs various functions required pertaining to review of SAP IS-U tolerances.

There are three standard SAP IS-U tolerances that are covered by this process pack:

• Meter Reading tolerances
• Billing Out-sort tolerances
• Invoicing Out-sort tolerances

The process pack is made up of a number of SAP ABAP programs that are written within the Node5 Architecture framework for performance and usability reasons. The programs available are:

• Tolerance analysis for review of current implausible readings
• Tolerance analysis for review of current and historical billing out-sorts
• Tolerance analysis for review of current and historical invoicing out-sorts

Each of the above programs will be explained throughout this document. The most commonly sought purpose of this process pack is to understand the impact of adjusting tolerances for meter reading upload. It becomes a “what if” analysis should a Utility desire to alter their tolerances and what the impact of doing so would be.

This document describes the pre-requisites and additional parameters required in order to execute the various programs within this application
