This area shows the user the recording status of the current test plan across all recording agents in all source systems. A user can either start, pause or stop the current recording within the source systems of the current test plan.

Upon pressing the “Start Recording” button, testimony will start recording all business transactions, user interactions etc taking place from that point in time in the recording system.

Upon pressing the “Stop Recording” button, testimony end recording of business transactions, user interactions etc in the recording system.

The current recording status of the source system(s) are presented in a list view.

The user can view audit trail of the ‘Recording history’ by double clicking on a particular source system.

Checks and Preparations: Prior to starting a recording, the preparation and check steps should be executed. You can do this by selecting the “Checks and Preparations” sub-menu and then selecting “Run all steps”. All preparation and check steps will be run to ensure that the recording is ready to take place. If any issues are found, then these will be presented to the user.
