The GUI has been refreshed to provide the following improvements:

  • The transport paths view is now cleaner, simpler and less cluttered
  • The transport paths can now be expanded and collapsed at 3 levels – Groups only, Groups and paths, Groups and paths with systems / control points
  • The colour scheme has been updated to provide a softer colour palette
  • The selection of My/All transports and transports without a form has been moved to a new transport selection dropdown in the transport paths pane
  • Messages have been updated to provide more clarity, help and information
  • Transport logs are now sorted in the transport path order
  • New transport attributes are shown in the transport form transport request details tab (e.g. OSS notes, CTS project, transport target, contains repairs)
  • Ability to delete tasks with attached test results
  • Ability to suppress the running of an analysis type for a specific target and location by adding entries to table /BTI/TE_ANALEXCL. This can be useful to stop the overtake / regression / conflict analysis types from being executed in target system import queues when there are large numbers of transports to be imported (if it has already been verified during approval)
  • The import history tab and activity reports now show the transport return codes in addition to the success/error status
  • It is now possible to assign a deployment status to import queues
  • In transport path maintenance a new target system can now be added into the middle of a path and subsequent targets made as children. This can be done by using the CTRL key when dragging the target into the path on top of the system that it is to be inserted before
  • New transport form event to show transport releases performed inside Transport Express
  • Ability to reset the TE import status using a right-click on the relevant transports in import queues
  • Better default screen window and popup screen sizes after a client registry reset
