Access to Release Management is provided via the “Release” tile on the user’s home screen within the ActiveControl Web Platform. The user interface has been streamlined to deliver a seamless and intuitive experience.
By clicking the Release tile, users are taken directly to the release list screen, where they can view existing releases, manage release details, and initiate new release creation all within a centralized and user-friendly workspace.
Feature Deactivation
Release Management can be deactivated by an ActiveControl administrator via the Feature Deactivation tile within the Web Platform. Once disabled:
- The Release tile will be hidden from the user’s home screen.
- All associated Release Management features will be inaccessible.
This provides flexibility for organizations that may not yet be using Release Management or wish to temporarily disable it.
