The master section provides controls to set the output volume and panorama.

  1. Balance: This knob sets the panorama of the output mix from hard left to hard right. Note: This knob sets panorama by attenuating the left or the right channel respectively. This might be relevant when panning a stereo signal.
  2. Level: This slider attenuates the volume of the output mix in decibels. It can also boost it over 2 dB above nominal level.
  3. Peak meter: These indicators show a representation of the volume of the output signal in the left and right audio channels respectively. Above each bar, a clipping indicator lights up whenever the signal volume in the corresponding channel causes clipping to occur.
