Issue

When you try to sync your MWS account with ASellerTool, you might get error code 71 (1).

Background

Error code 71 means that you’re trying to link more than one account to an Amazon MWS account. Your Amazon MWS seller account can only be linked with one AST user account. If you want to link your MWS account to a different AST user account, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact our tech support. On the subject line put [Reset MWS Registration]. Then provide your old AST User ID (2) that is currently registered to your Amazon MWS account.
  2. We will release your old account from it’s link to the MWS seller account. After we release your MWS account from your old AST account, you can register your new AST user ID with your Amazon MWS account here
