Navigation: From the Main Menu click Customer Entry then select the Terms tab.
This is the area where you can set default payment and credit terms for a specific customer.
Terms
Terms are setup in the Terms tab window of the setup entry menu. You can set the Default Terms to be one thing (usually Net 30) when the customer is created here in Customer Entry, and another thing (usually Cash) when the customer is created while creating a workorder. These are set up in the Sales Settings tab of System Settings.
Credit Limit
Here you set the credit limit for the customer. Even if the customer is setup as cash terms, if they have a credit limit the sales rep can change the customers terms to Charge on Account.
