Navigation: From the Customer Entry window, select the green Email button and select the Mail Templates tab.

The Mail Templates screen will display all of your email templates. It also allows you to create new ones or modify the existing ones.

Creating a New Template

  • Select the New button and enter a description for the template, for example: Oil Change Special
  • Change the Subject of the email.
  • Enter the message in either plain text or by using HTML
  • Save changes to save the current template

Using the Merge Fields

You can have the system pull the customer’s information when the email is generated. For example, the body of your email could read:

«firstname»,
Thank you for bringing in your «model». We appreciate your business. Take 20% off y our next Oil Change.

If this template is used as an email reminder sent to John Smith with a Toyota, the email would read as follows:

John,
Thank you for bringing in your Toyota. We appreciate your business, Take 20% off your next Oil Change.
