Navigation: From the Main Menu select Setup Entry and then press the General Ledger Setup button

Here is where you can link the General Ledger Accounts in your accounting software to AutoFluent. These accounts need to be setup in your accounting software before they can be used into this window. AutoFluent technicians can help with this process of linking the accounts.

Before linking the accounts, click the button at the bottom to Refresh Accounts from Accounting Software.

Each row must link to a valid account in your accounting software. For example, the first row, Cash Drawer must link to the account you are using in your accounting software for your Cash Drawer. To select an account, click the word in the right column:

  • A window will appear with your accounts from your accounting software. You will see the familiar search boxes at the top. Use these to navigate through the list to find the desired account.
  • To select an account, double-click it, or press the Select button.
  • To exit the window without selecting anything press the Cancel button.
  • If the account you are looking for is not in the list:
    • Add the account into the Chart of Accounts of your accounting software, and
    • Press the Refresh Accounts button at the bottom of this window.

To make sure that everything that you have added is a valid press the G/L Integrity Check button. This will report any problems with the G/L setup or the inventory setup, as well as any errors that may be present in your Item Groups, if the report comes back “OK” then you are ready to post your daily reports into your accounting software!
