Your data is completely inaccessible by any other person except you.

Starkit is the world’s first private mail server and cloud storage appliance to put privacy and control ahead of everything else. You are not hooked to any carriers or vendors. Starkit comes preinstalled with all the tools you need to move throughout the world, conduct business, and stay in touch, while shielding you from prying eyes.

It’s the trustworthy precaution any connected worker should take, whether you’re talking to your family or exchanging notes on your latest project or discussing privately with your customers.

Starkit encrypts data in transit

Data (email, documents, files, etc) is encrypted as it traverses a network — via web applications and smart phone apps. Protected data leaves the Starkit storage drive or database until it’s re-saved or delivered to its destination. Protecting information in transit essentially ensures protection from others attempting to snoop or eavesdrop on information as it traverses the network. Starkit generates its self signed certificates, so there is no chance for any authority or vendor to know your Sartik SSL certificates.

Starkit encrypts data in rest

Starkit uses a patent pending strong encryption algorithm to encrypt all data stored on your Starkit. That means the data saved on your Starkit is scrambled and becomes completely unreadable. All data remains strongly encrypted until you unlock your Starkit when it starts. You are the only one who has the key to unlock your encrypted data on Starkit. That means no one will have access to your data if your Starkit is stolen or ceased by any organization or person.

You own and control your data

Do you find organisations understand the risks associated with storing data on other company’s computers “in the cloud”? When you use Starkit all your “cloud” data is stored encrypted on your own appliance which you own and control.
