This is a step by step guide how to migrate your old emails to Starkit

STEP 1 – Collect old email to your Starkit account

The way to import data from existing email accounts is to use the Starkit’s Mail Collector.

Here is how to start collecting existing email from other external accounts to Starkit

You can use Starkit Mail Collector to automatically check your other email accounts for new mail and then have it all received in your Starkit inbox.

Note that all old emails will be fetched in the inbox. Old folder structure will be lost. However, you can move all your old emails to an archive folder and then there are two ways to find anything you like:

a) Use Starkit’s blazing fast search to magically find anything when you need it the most

b) Starkit automatically finds all emails exchanged with any contact (How)

STEP 2 – Add your domain name

When all old emails are collected, you are ready to point your domain MX records to Starkit.

Here is how to add your domain to Starkit

2. After adding your domain, you will need to change your domain mx records so that all email to your domain will be directed to your Starkit.

Here is how to configure your domain MX records for email delivery to your Starkit

Starkit will automatically adjust the settings of your email accounts already in mail collector to continue to work normally after you change your domain mx records. That means you don’t have to do anything for your existing email accounts that are already set to collect email on Starkit, they will magically continue to send and receive email using your Starkit as your new mail server.

STEP 3 – Create additional email accounts at your domain

Once you have your domain name added on Starkit you can create additional email accounts at your domain within 30 seconds, easily and effortlessly.
