First you need to enable POP3 for the user.

1. Click Settings on the left accordion menu and click Users
2. Go over a user and click the option Enable POP3

In order to set up POP3 and SMTP access on your mobile phone or desktop email client you have to use your Starkit hostname. This is the domain you created when you set up your Starkit fo the first time. To find the correct server for your external POP and SMTP settings check the option About under My Starkit on the left accordion menu.

Then you can configure your Outlook, Thunderbird or any other email client or device like your iPhone or Android phone as follows:

Incoming server settings:
Server: example.starkit.me
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Security: SSL
Authentication: Normal

Outgoing server settings:
Server: example.starkit.me
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 465
Security: SSL
Authentication: Normal

IMPORTANT. Please be sure to configure your POP client to leave messages on the server according to the instructions below:

Outlook or Outlook Express: on the Advanced tab, check the box next to ‘Leave a copy of messages on the server.’

Apple Mail: on the Advanced tab, remove the check next to ‘Remove copy from server after retrieving a message.’

Thunderbird: on the Server Settings tab, check the box next to ‘Leave messages on server.’
