Before you set up your Starkit for sending SMS you need to set up an account with an external SMS provider.

Currently Starkit supports the following providers:

CardBoardFish
https://www.cardboardfish.com

Telesign Mobile
http://www.telesignmobile.com

You have to contact one of the above providers directly and ask them to set up an SMS connectivity account via HTTP/S. This will enable Starkit to connect at this provider via HTTP/S and send SMS. Your SMS provider will then supply you with a username and password for your account, which you can use to enable SMS functionality on your Starkit.

Once you have your SMS provider account ready, you can set your Starkit to send SMS by just adding your SMS provider login and password in your Starkit. Here is how to do it:

1. Click SMS Texting on the left accordion menu and click SMS Provider

2. On the SMS provider page click the option Add new SMS provider
