Starkit Protects your privacy in three ways:

1. The service provicer is you. You own and control your data.

Starkit will perform as your own private and secure server for mail, cloud storage and communication (voice, video, chat). That means your email, file transfers, video/voice calls and chat will not go through any provider’s servers unlike to what happens when you use for example Gmail or Dropbox or Skype. The provider is YOU, not Google, Dropbox or Microsoft.

2. Data encryption in transit.

All data send and received by Starkit is encrypted. That means all your email, files and communication that travel through internet from one user to the other is encrypted and cannot be read.

For example if you write:

“Hi Maria, how are you?”

after the encryption it will look like this and this is what will be traveling through the internet lines:

3. Data encryption at rest.

Data stored (rest) on your Starkit is encrypted. Starkit software appliance provides a powerful build-in encryption algorithm that securely encrypts your data, files, emails, documents and photos, ensuring your data will be safe even if your hardware falls into the wrong hands. Like the encryption example above if a person does not have your encryption key, the data on your Starkit is just rubbish.
