Configuring Email Options

Social Squared will notify you via email if another user responds to a topic that you created.

An email address must be configured for Social Squared so that it can send the notification to the Topic author. The email account can be an Exchange Online, Exchange, or POP/SMTP configuration.

Email Configuration

The Email Template allows you to use phrases to embed the subject and the body of the topic. Phrases include:

Subject: PostTitle

Post Author: PosterName

Post Body: PostBody

Link to Topic: PostUrl.

!Social Squared for SharePoint On-Premises allows users to subscribe or unsubscribe to a Topic or a Forum. As of 4th May 2016, this functionality does not yet exist in the Social Squared Add-In.
