Miscellaneous section on the Data Source tab

This section contains the following options:

  1. Limit Amount Of Items Returned To – Use this text box to restrict the number of items returned from the data source, as well as for performance reasons. This limit will be applied to the first X amount retrieved from the data source. Filters or Pagination on the Display tab can be set to return a specific subset. For example, if you would like to show the “Top Ten latest Announcements”, instead of typing a number in the Limit Amount Of Items Returned To text box, use the Paging section section on the Display tab, and on the Columns tab, sort by the column, Created in descending order.

  2. Limit Amount of Items Returned Per List – Use this text box to restrict the number of items returned per data source list. If user specifies value here, then the Object Model rollup engine provider will set a limit on the amount of items retrieved from each list (i.e. max specified count of items will be retrieved per each list during rollup process).

  3. Translate Taxonomy Terms – Use this check box when you are using multiple languages with Managed Metadata, and you wish to use Management Metadata columns, to filter items or to display terms in the Lightning Conductor Web Part. This allows the Web Part to display translated terms according to the user’s browser language setting.

  4. Retrieve Missing Parent Folders – If checked, then the rollup engine provider will additionally retrieve parent folders (also items) for all rolled up items, which are missing among rolled up items.

  5. Retrieve Missing Parent Tasks – If checked, then the rollup engine provider will additionally retrieve parent tasks for all rolled up task items, which are missing among rolled up task items.
