Care of the Kanger Mini Protank II/III & of the Kanger Protank II/III

Daily care should include wiping the clearomiser down with paper towels and cleaning the contact points ensuring the power from your battery is always good. An ideal time to do this would be when topping up with eliquid. Remove the mouthpiece and wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

When changing flavours you can dismantle the entire device, carefully putting aside the O rings and coil and then washing the glass and steel parts in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly before drying well. Spare O rings are supplied with each kit so it these are worn or damaged these can be replaced at this time.

Once dry reassemble carefully taking care not to over tighten, then fill as normal.

Tips from Kangertech:

The metal tube in the centre of the clearomiser leads from the mouthpiece to the battery end. You must avoid getting liquid into this tube when filling.

Removing the base:
When unfastening the base (atomiser head) to refill the the seals are temporarily broken and liquid will leak from the mouthpiece or escape into the centre tube. Always wrap a cloth or piece of tissue around the mouthpiece when unfastening the base of the clearomiser.

Gurgling noise or leaks:
This is a sign that liquid has found its way into the metal tube in the centre of the clearomiser (and usually occurs after a refill). Ridding the center tube of liquid will resolve the issue. To do so without emptying the tank, remove the clearomiser from the battery, wrap a cloth or tissue around the battery end of the clearomiser and blow sharply through the mouthpiece.

Check and make sure the coil is secure:
The atomiser head of the tank can unfasten when unscrewing the tube or base. Always secure the atomiser head before reinstalling the base after a refill.

e-Liquid in the battery contact area:
It is normal to find a small amount of liquid in the battery contact area when removing the clearomiser or any atomiser. We recommend cleaning the battery cavity before attaching it to your charger.

Keep your clearomiser topped off:
When possible, keep the tank full and never below ⅓ full of e-Liquid (“topped off”). This helps maintain the “vacuum” in the tank and prevent leaks.

Life span:
Atomiser heads have an average lifespan between 10 to 20 days. When the atomiser head wears down, it may begin to leak. Replace the atomiser head with a replacement of the correct type for your device.
