Standard 308.8.1 “Supervisor’s evaluation will be available to the student within 45 calendar days of the completion of the unit. In unusual circumstances, the supervisor may negotiate with the student and receive approval from the regional accreditation chair to extend this deadline. The supervisor’s evaluation will document this process and such extension must be reported on the next annual report.”

The center will address the notation for Standard 308.8.1 by submitting a plan of action to return into compliance. The plan must include:

• A description of the non-compliance,
• A narrative demonstrating how the Center has brought itself or is bringing itself into compliance,
• A demonstration of how the plan is working with a timeline, and
• A plan to prevent recurrence and maintain compliance with the standard.

In cases of recurrence:

The center is required to submit a reconciliation report for a cycle of two completed student units. The report will reconcile ACPE End of Unit Reports and Supervisory Final Evaluation with the page containing supervisor and student signatures and date signed demonstrating the 45-day requirement has been met.

In addition, the Commission requests that an audit of the CPE Center files for all supervisors’ final unit evaluations for all units supervised since (insert date) to the present be completed. The report will reconcile ACPE End of Unit Reports and Supervisory Final Evaluation the page containing supervisor and student signatures and date.

For the audit, the Center’s files and student records must be surveyed for incomplete files:

• files without the student’s final evaluation, and/or
• files without the supervisor’s final evaluation, and/or
• files that contain supervisor’s evaluations without the supervisor’s signature and/or date.

The result of the audit, a plan of action, and a timeline of implementation must be documented.

Response to notations due to ACPE National Office: March 1 or September 1.
