1. When substantive (as opposed to editorial) changes in standards are proposed, a study document(s) will be created.

2. Study documents shall be submitted for publication in the ACPE Newsletter and on the ACPE website for the purpose of eliciting comments from the members, students, members of cognate groups, and the public. Study documents shall include:

2.1. an introductory statement inviting comment from interested parties about the study document, specifically mentioning ACPE members, students, members of cognate groups, and members of the public;
2.2. the location of the proposed change in the current ACPE Standards and indication of both the wording deleted and added to that document;
2.3. the rationale for the change; and
2.4. the names of individuals to whom comment may be directed.
